WHY MERCY TV

Unfortunately, there are few authentic Islamic channels available in the world. Islam, today, is the most misunderstood religion in the present world. It bears the brunt of misconceptions and hate propaganda. The powerful mass media, aligned to mighty and deceitful political and corporate interest, spreads these misconceptions virulently worldwide. While portraying Islam, integrity and reliability are bypassed by the media with professional charm and finesse.

Wise and apt Islamic viewpoints are seldom covered in the main stream media, whereas aberrations by a few misguided Muslims are highlighted. Mercy TV channel intends to provide a proper presentation of Islam in Urdu, Hindi and Telugu languages to the 300 million population in Indian subcontinent and around the world.

Through our innovative and unique programmes, Mercy TV intends to promote true Islam, communal harmony, national integrity and universal brotherhood.
Mercy TV intends to open a healthy dialogue with other faiths and seeks to provide a platform for intelligent and reasonable discussions, which are often side-lined by the mainstream media.

*Mercy TV intends to provide, state-of-the-art TV programmes based on authentic teachings of the Holy Qur’an and Hadith.
